Hedwig Bollhagen’s cream creamer with the shape number “503” is probably somewhat reminiscent of a lotus bud or even Aladdin’s magic lamp. Employees of the Marwitz ceramics factory therefore also affectionately christened this little jug the “Genie” cream jug. Characteristic is the rather flat, bulbous body. With a diameter of twelve centimeters, the vessel, which is only four and a half centimeters high, is more wide than high. With a capacity of 0.15 liters, the 190-gram vessel is neither too small nor too large. The generous handle and the diametrically opposed, outward-swinging mouth with the drip-proof snout round off the design harmoniously.
